Do you think you need a gym to lose weight? Sometimes gyms are not convenient to go to or paying membership stinks. Either way, below I have 3 ways you can workout without the gym. If you do have a gym, you can use the below on your off days when you don’t go to the gym.
Indoor Workouts. I find working out at home a great way to workout. The equipment is really minimum. All you really need is a yoga mat, some weights, a chair or two (not shown) and some music. Working in the comfort of your own home, you don’t have to worry about rain or snow outside and you can do it anytime when you are at home.
Outdoor Running. I personally really like to run, but if you don’t like running you can always walk. Running outside really burns a lot of calories and you get to enjoy the weather and breathing in the fresh air. Working out outside is a lot harder than inside, maybe it’s the air. I personally think I burn more calories outdoors.
Fitbit Challenges. How I do love a good fitness challenge. You can ask my friends the level of crazy I do for them. I love on my off-gym days that I can walk and burn off calories. Anywhere I normally take the car, I would just walk instead, grocery shopping, picking up the kids. Where I use the car, I use my own two feet.
Join a sports/ workout club. There are many leagues out there such as basketball leagues volleyball leagues or even run club. You can join as a way to workout with people with a common interest. Great way to workout and hangout with friends.
