Cruise- To Kid Camp or Not?

I understand, this is a Family vacation and you want to hangout with your kids, but have you ever considered what they want to do?  I didn’t think much of it until I was on a ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean wondering what my kids should do.

Fun.  Depending on certain camps, Ship Vs ship- Kid Camp post coming soon, they are very kid-friendly.  Camp counselors can do projects, experiments and games with the kids.  Kid camps can be very interactive where it really is like a daycare.  My kids couldn’t wait to go to camp and hated to leave it.  It was that much fun!

Friends.  I don’t know about other kids, but my kids makes friends in camp.  When they leave camp and see other kids walking around the ship, they always wave hi, if not run to them for a high five.  We enjoy hanging out with our friends, it’s no different for the kids.

Date Nights.  This is a reason solely for the parents.  Even when the buns didn’t exactly enjoy camp, they still had to go depending on our dinner plans or excursion.  Sometimes the kids have to take one for the parents.  Sorry kids!

To camp or not to camp?  For me, YAY to kid camps.  Would you send your kids to kid camps?  Leave a comment below.

Until next time, Happy Cruising!
